History
Since 1985 — safeguarding your health
The Kazakhstan sanatorium opened in 1985 as a departmental health resort for staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kazakh SSR. Since its founding the institution has specialised in health resort treatment, rehabilitation and disease prevention.
In the 1990s the sanatorium was restructured into a joint-stock company and opened its doors to the general public. Today we welcome guests from every region of Kazakhstan and neighbouring countries.
Over four decades hundreds of thousands of patients have visited the sanatorium. Continuous renewal of medical equipment, staff training and expanded treatment programmes keep us among the leading health resorts in Almaty.

Key advantage
Our own mineral spring
The spring was tapped in 1987 from a depth of over 2,100 metres. It yields therapeutic nitrogenous, low-mineral water with an officially certified composition, naturally heated to +46–50 °C.
Water of this composition is used for external treatments — in the sanatorium's hydrotherapy building and in the 25-metre pool, open all year round.
